Has anyone heard anything? I often visit the Baen Bar, but have not heard if Baen has taken Jim on as a writer. I was hoping to have heard by now either way.
Jim, anything you can share with us at this point?

Hello Mr Cobb, I hope you get this. My husband gave me "Choosers of the Slain" and regretted it when I couldn't put it down. Read it overnight in one sitting, and then read it again slowly over the next week. I went looking for more and found "Storm Dragon" and then "Sea Fighters". Our local book store then told me about "Target Lock" but despite trying for months couldn't get a copy. Eventually with the help of a friend, who had a friend, I managed to import a copy. I live in Sydney, Australia and I have been searching for news of you for months and have just found this site. Whatever bee those publishers have in their bonnets, please ignore them and keep your books coming. All the best, Irene Goard

What great books and how disappointing Mr. Cobb doesn't have an American publisher for his next book. I'm an avid reader of Baen Books and I think these stories fit right in, even though they aren't strictly science fiction. I'd love to see Mr. Cobb as a Baen author.

I think this series is one of the best I've read. I hope to see this series continue.

IMO Amanda Garrett would be a great fit at Baen, she reads with intensity similar to that of a number of Baen's authors. Hopefully they make JC an offer that works. Starting to wonder about JC's agent though. Can't wait for Phantom Force. Wonder if I could wade through the auf deutsch version ...

Baen publishing is taking a look at Jim's work. Hopefully they will like it and decide that it fits in with their line-up... Here's hoping for a book (Phantom Force) soon!

Any news about Phantom Force being published in UK. Try for it over here, your real fans will probably not mind too much paying a bit extra for shipping costs.

If your looking for a publisher try Baen. Maybe a fellow Jim can help you out. Looking forward to the next Amanda books.
I do have a question: Has anyone ever picked up the movie rights? Now that would be kewl if it was done right!!
