James Patterson Message Board

woody fowler posts on 1/8/2008 12:11:48 PM I have listened to about 10 audio books by Mr. Patterson and have enjoyed them all. However, Season of the Machete was so bad that I didn't finish it. It's like someone with a lot less talent wrote it. wf
anita posts on 12/6/2007 3:05:59 PM I have read all of his books and really enjoy them immensely but have to agree that in the last 3 newest books something has been missing and the "sparkle" isn't there. Anita
kylie chant posts on 12/5/2007 12:28:35 PM I read the new book, Cross, a couple of month ago. It was exciting ad gripping as usual, but unforunately, it just didn't have that sparkle about it that all the others had. I think what caused this is that the story was a little predictable, where as the others had me completely baffled. Nevertheless, a thumbs up, as I love James Patterson!!

Nedra M. posts on 12/5/2007 9:39:08 AM I am new reader to the James Patterson collection and just completed 1st to Die. It was pretty good, however it wasn't as suspenseful as I thought it would be, but it did a pretty good job of keeping my attention. I began reading "The Midnight Club" today, but wondered if this book has more suspense than the last one I just read?
Becca posts on 11/5/2007 2:43:46 PM I was also really confused about where Ali came from in the novel cross... i dont think i missed anything in the book and i was hoping they would explain where he came from before the end of the book but it never did

kim posts on 10/1/2007 9:18:50 PM Could someone please explain to me where "Little Ali" came from in the book "Cross"? When Maria died, they had two children, Damon and Jannie and suddenly in the next chapter, they had three. Did I miss something?
Dave posts on 9/29/2007 3:34:17 PM I have read so many of his books lately and donated them to the library when I finished. I forgot which one ended in murder and the FBI agent is the serial killer. I wanted to look back at it for some info.
robyn posts on 8/23/2007 9:24:48 AM In which book is Christine kidnapped?
Anita posts on 7/6/2007 9:26:17 PM To Robert G: My suggestion would be first to discuss the character Alex Cross...His relationship to his partner, his family, and especially his grandmother who takes care of his kids, and the impact his wife's death has on him and the family.
