Sarina posts on 5/9/2005 12:34:41 PM I cab understand that guys don't enjoy reading books that females have written. And of course our tastes are different. I tend to enjoy romance whereas my fiance finds mysteries and thrillers appealing. But we both enjoy histories, and those types of books. You can never steer wrong with an autobiography. - I loved this book and the movie was fascinating. Hugh Grant was perfect as Edward, and Gwyneth Paltrow (Elinor) brings Austen's books to life. Kete Winslet (Marianne): born to play a role in historically based movies. Keep her out of the modern era movies. She's too classical. -
John Doe posts on 2/28/2005 12:38:19 PM I hate this book! I don't understand it. First i don't like Britich books. Second, I don't like chick books. Third, it's fiction so it blows. I hate women writers in the 19th century. I have never seen a good book that a woman has written! I hate Brit. books, and I hate Jane Austen!
