I love the Stephanie Plums! The last was a blast, loved it, loved them all. Wonder what the 15th will be called... Morelli and Steph WILL get married in the last book...when ever that is, not soon hopefully :( plum spooky sounds real good, counting down the days...

Ms. Evanovich cracks me up. The only reason I may have been a tiny bit disappointed in 14, is there wasn't enough Grandma in it! She's my favorite character, I just love her. I want to be her in 30 years. Ok, FINE! 25, lol. I'm currently re-reading the Full series. Funny stuff. I very much look forward to Plum Spooky.

I didn't care all that much for fourteen, for one there wasn't enough Ranger. Personally I think Ranger and Stephanie should get together, she's learning more about him in every book.
Stephanie found out Ranger had a little girl in book 5. In book 11 she found out Ranger had 4 sisters and 1 brother. I think Ranger and Stephanie would be alot better together than Joe. Ranger is willing to let Stephanie fly, but at the same time protect her. Joe just wants to change her and make her into a housewife that is so not Stephanie. I know Ranger has some secrets and says he doesn't want a relationship, but I think him and Stephanie could work with that. Most people aren't looking for a relationship when they find the person for them, why should Ranger be any different.

Carol - I know exactly how you feel about JE's series. Never do I laugh out loud while reading other books - I always laugh out loud with this series and her earlier works. Apparently, I have no literary taste because old fans are complaining about her work but I continue in my ignorance and love these books. As you say am spoiled for other authors. Waiting for Plum Spooky.

Janet has spoilt my reading of other books forever. Nothing compares to Janets books. I love the way that each character comes to life and I can see them all in my minds eye. I hope she ends up with Joe, as he is less secretive, and very sexy. She needs to settle down in marriage, but continue with that zany life she leads.

I got it from the library. I was afraid to spend the money to buy after some of the criticism . I really enjoyed it. Stephanie is getting more mature and I like that she seems to be more with Joe. There was enough laughs and loony folks. It was another fun read. I'll probably wait for the PB to buy.

This was the first time I read reviews before I read the book. I have to say I enjoyed it even though I missed Ranger. I was at work, reading it during break, laughing out loud. I'm not sure who I want her with. I'm wondering what the next one will be like.

I read FF today. I thought it was the worst in the Plum series. The story just seemed to drag with the first third of the book dealing with the Brenda storyline that just didn't really seem to have a point except that it gave Janet a way to put Ranger in the book. It just seems like the series has gotten stale with too many recycled parts. I did like more of a focus on Morelli, and it seems like maybe Janet is ending this love triangle nonsense once and for all. The last few books seem to have reinforced the relationship between Joe and Stephanie. I'll keep reading the series, but I have lost much of my enthusiasm for it. There was a day when I'd run out to get the books on the Tuesday they were released and then read them immediately. I bought this one last weekend and just got around to reading it today. Thankfully I've discovered some authors that I'm enjoying more than JE now.

Thank you Plum Fan - I knew Plum Spook is coming out, but I didn't know it was supposed to be full-length. I hope so!

Marie - there will be another book in January called Plum Spooky. I had heard it would be a full length book. We shall see. I was not disappointed in FF. It was to me the same quirky stuff I have come to love from Janet and this series. What did everyone else think. Sherry
