J.D. Robb Message Board

Heather posts on 5/2/2005 10:04:10 PM I know this is going to upset a lot of fans, but I am so disappointed that Roake and Eve did not take in Nixie. Here is a happy couple with all the means in the world to create a safe warm home for the child. On top of that they have Summerset to help. Plus they both have jaded childhoods, they would be perfect to help Nixie through her trauma. All I could think of was how selfish they were. I am sorry. I have loved JD Robb and In Death series passionately. I always bought the books as soon as they were released and read them with relish. Now I am through. They are just too into themselves to think of a child. When it came time for Eve's nightmare I even skipped over it.
mame posts on 3/26/2005 1:01:32 AM I'm a long-time Nora Roberts/J. D. Robb fan and have read just about everything that she's written (it took a long time...). I've just finished 'Survivor in Death' and it was as great as I expected it would be. Glad to hear that there's another In Death book due in August. I thought I read something some time ago on (one of Nora's?) a website that talked about Naked in Death being made into a movie?? Is that old news or not happening? I'd love to suggest an actor's name for Eve!
Summer posts on 3/1/2005 12:26:53 PM I haven't been reading her books for very long (around one year) and i have just fallen in love with her style. Ther are so many books to read of hers that I don't read anything else. I am going to spend the next 20 years trying to catch up. But Birthright is the best one i have read it 3 times. there will never be one of hers that will ever be that good.

Karen posts on 2/24/2005 1:43:44 AM I have just finished Visions In Death and will be picking up Survivor In Death tomorrow when I go into town. I can not wait to start it. As for the "Remember When" book, I read it a year or so ago and enjoyed the book very much. Though I have to admit, the J. D. Robb story was still my favorite. I havent even read Survivor In Death yet and already anticipate the release of "Origin In Death" that is to be released August 2005.
Melissa posts a message on 2/14/2005 11:42:41 PM I've read it. There are several places online that carry it, if you can't find it in any stores near you. Are you maybe looking in the wrong section? I usually find her books in the mystery section, but I've occasionally seen some of them in the romance section.
