posts on 8/18/2006 9:11:33 AM i know that you do meticulous research for youe novels.however since i have read and reread all of them so often i have them memorized,i am waiting with baited breath for the newest one.will ayla finally discover who her people were? does she ever meet any of her "clan" again.please dont keep us in suspense much longer.i have been following ayla's story since high school( iam 41 now)

I read Clan of the Cave Bear in 4th grade and have read and reread these books numerous times since then. I'll be 30 next week. How about giving me the best 30th birthday present ever? Come on Jean, don't hold out too much longer!
