Jean Sasson Message Board

Kat posts on 4/8/2008 4:41:23 AM I have to agree with Judi - Jean Sasson is absolutely the best! What she has been able to do in exposing the misery that many women have suffered is nothing short of incredible. Only a lunatic would have the audacity to attack and falsely accuse her. Keep up the great work Jean - for there are far more people that not only enjoy reading your books, but are impacted by them in a profound way that compels one to do more than just read your books, but to take action in any way possible to help these women.
Judi posts on 3/29/2008 9:41:51 PM Jean Sasson is the greatest. She has exposedthe rats, and ratsdo not like to be exposed. God is the FINAL JUDGE for all of us, but he allows the TRUTH to be EXPOSED, and he uses people among us, such as Jean Sasson and others. As Lincoln said, "You can FOOL some of the people sometimes, but you CANNOT FOOL all the people all of the time. TRUTH has only have to be told ONCE, but filthy LIES have to be told over and over in many different ways. God Bless the good people of this world, and PROTECT you from the EVIL among us!D

Kat posts on 1/29/2008 8:21:53 PM I have completed the Princess Trilogy and just now finished "Mayada, Daughter of Iraq." All I have to say is that these books really tugged at my heart as I learned of the barbaric atrocities these incredible women have faced at the hands of cowards. Since reading these books, my heart and prayers are with all those adversely affected in the four books I mentioned above. May God continue to guide and protect Princess Sultana & her Circle as well as Mayada and strengthen you all in all your endeavors to bring about change to the plight of the women on the planet, particularly in your region. This is not only about human rights folks, it's about out GOD GIVEN RIGHT to live dignified lives with liberty and justice for all. As for Jean Sasson, she's a first class writer and superb story teller. Much props to Mrs. Sasson for all your hard work in being the voice of these women to the world. Thank you for enduring criticism and false accusations for letting the truth be known. We can't help ignorant and false accusers, their ailments need Divine intervention. I look forward to reading the rest of your books that I just received.
Joshua posts on 1/20/2008 2:21:14 PM Well said Sara. I hope Mayada will reply but I think she's busy writing for the Gulf Times now, from what my recent search found.
sara posts on 1/20/2008 9:51:39 AM jehan and anonimous by the way the spelling is not anonimous it is anonymous! and u guys sud be ashamed of ur selves. y wud anyone want to make money by using ur religion. u think women in ur country r not abused? they might be abused in america by they hav the right to voice their opinion and r not treated like worthless rats. so u sud get ur facts rite before saying stuff like that. u might not need jean sasson but the world and arabi muslim women need authors like her who r eye openers to the world. and by the way i am not an american. i know this would not change a bit of you but we dont need people who r not the least bit cared for women rites even in their religion! altough i am not a muslim but i am of a religion very close to muslims and respect them very much. i hope u will now think bout wat u say and do against women because in todays world we r not to be supressed or even abused at by u. so get into your rite minds. thank you
Joshua posts on 1/2/2008 11:49:11 AM Hi, I have just found this forum. Am very pleased and surprised to see posts from Jean and Mayada below! Anyway I have just finished the Princess trilogy and the book of Mayada's experience. Have just started Love in a Torn Land. Jean's books have really moved me, especially some of the women's experiences that Sultana describes and I am so proud of the strength of women in the face of such odds. I wish I had similar strength. I agree with Mayada to not worry about those who make things up - there are much better things to give your energy to. I hope Saudi Arabia continues to make progress as detailed at the end of Desert Royal, towards equality for women and all those disadvantaged. I wish Mayada well in your life now and I so wish that the shadow women of cell 52 found safety, or peace, wherever their souls are now. I only regret that I had not found these books much earlier, otherwise I could have met both Mayada and Jean when your book tour came to London! I understand Mayada now lives in the UK so if you visit London again, you would be welcome to join me for a cup of tea :-) I hope people are still responding here and I will check back. Joshua
Mayada Al Askari posts on 10/30/2007 2:56:48 PM This is Mayada Al-Askari and while I used to become very angry at people who lie, Jean has set a good example for all people who are lied about. She laughs and even feels sympathy for people such as you who are writing lies online. So, I am laughing at the stupidity of the latest comments. Me brainwashed by Jean Sasson? That is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. Jean is not the sort of person to try and brainwash ANYONE and I am not the sort of person that anyone COULD brainwash. Where do you people get these stupid ideas? The fact of the matter is that you just MAKE THEM UP and LIE. What is your problem? Are you angry that the truth of about Saddam's prisons has been revealed? Are you embarrassed that the plight of women in Saudi Arabia has been exposed by MANY people and MANY organizations, some of them Saudi Arabian! Your lies are hilarious because anyone can check the facts and easily see that you are the liars, not the people who write books about true events. One day soon there will be internet laws about lying about people online and some of you will be sorry for the day you left your "fingerprints" on the web. I, for one, will laugh even more when you are forced to pay huge sums of money to people you have lied about. That will be a lot of fun, I must admit. You can save your energy and stop lying about me, that is if you have one brain cell left in your head, which does not appear to be the case. I wish it was true that I had NOT been arrested and put in a dungeon. Unfortunately, the people writing in saying that the facts in the book about me are not true, are lying about this, as well. I KNOW that I was arrested, as do my children, and anyone else who knew me in Iraq, and that was more people than I can count. Silly, silly silly people: I KNOW that what happened to me is real and that story has been truthfully documented in the book MAYADA, DAUGHTER OF IRAQ. I gave all that information to Jean and she wrote the story. So, I KNOW the truth. You KNOW nothing. You are all too ignorant and mean for me to waste another moment of my energy. Obviously you all need mental medical care. I hope you get it.
Anonimous posts on 10/27/2007 12:23:36 PM Jehann you are right on! Sassons 'Princess Sultana' does NOT exist, nor has 'Mayada Al Askeri' ever been imprisioned by Saddam. Jean Sasson brainwashed her, she is only out to make a lot of money on the backs and of Arabi muslim womanand our religion.Shame on her. We do not need her. Let her write about her own abused American females and let her make her money from them.Anonymous is watching from Bahrain.
jehann posts on 10/23/2007 12:53:08 PM I think her stories are nothing great . she is an ubnormal crazy blond coming from another planet . This is not such a big deal women . Wake up ! Silly americans .
