Hanan Al Sayid Hussain posts on 4/22/2007 4:32:18 PM Dear All It is such a shame when I see postings such as the ones I am reading below, and what utter nonsense. Jean Sasson has written books and touched upon subjects no one else dared come near. Being a devote practicing Muslim in the Arab world, I can say with all confidence that Jean has not once written false information concerning my religion. Princess Sultana spoke of the status co in Saudi Arabia, and to tell u the truth, her account was a bit washed down not to show the whole picture of atrocities carried out against women and Islam in the land of our Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), I should know for I live there. U guys and dolls should be reading Jean's books twice, for u have obviously missed a lot out.
Sameera posts on 4/22/2007 9:51:14 AM I agree, I believe that Jean would not write something that is not based on factual events. Of course for a books sake there is going to be stuff that is a little far fetched. But, it is not that far fetched to believe that those injustices do happen to women in Saudi Arabia and all over the world, for that matter.
tess posts on 4/19/2007 1:31:23 PM hi there I for one read all 3 books on princess Sultana within 2weeks. I was so captured by her story. I live in Dubai, and therefore the Muslim religion really interests me. I am a Christian, but I want to educate myself on other religions. Some moments were a bit far fetched for me in the books, but it's not impossible. I trust Jean that she has written the truth. My next book by Jean will be purchased soon.

anonymous nr 3 posts on 4/12/2007 6:16:34 AM you are not the only doubters. THE 3 Princess books are all HOAXES. I am a true muslim, and I have read all the books Jean wrote .for research purpose. It surprises me, how she got away with it for so long. But people are not stupied. She should be stopt.Maybe her publishers do not know what she writes ,is not true.
Anonymous posts on 4/10/2007 10:19:43 AM I have to agree with the person who has written below, in all three books, there are things that just dont make sense, and i hear that you are being done for coping someones autobiography and making it into those books.
Anonymous posts on 3/6/2007 11:01:43 AM i am on the third book about Princess Sultana and have found a few factual errors which make me wonder if they are really true stories. in one book it is claimed that women are not allowed in Mosques in Saudi, this is not true i have been in one. the Princess does not appear to know her own religion as she claims that it was Issac that was sacraficed when Muslims believe that it was Ismail. there are various innacurate statements made about Islam in these books which would seem more like the opinions of someone who is not a Muslim. i wondered if anyone else who has any knowledge of Saudi or Islam thought the same? besides the innacuracies they are good stories.
Anonymous posts on 2/24/2007 7:40:41 PM Hi Michelle... I'm glad that the PRINCESS books meant a lot to you -- Just to let you know that there are no plans at the moment to write a 4th book about Princess Sultana & her family, although I never say never. At the moment I'm working on my life story, which will have more details about her and her family within the book... But, I won't finish my story until next year and it will take another year for the book to come out. Also, I'm in the process of having my website updated, so I'll put the latest about the princess on that, as well -- should be another 2 or 3 weeks before that is finished. Thanks for caring... Jean
Michelle posts on 2/22/2007 12:34:28 PM Hi Jean, I am wondering if there will ever be a fourth book in the Princess Trilogy? I am very curious to know what is happening with Sultana, her sisters, and her daughters. Any updates with them? By the way, the Princess books have been very meaningful to my life, thankyou to you and Sultana.
Jean Sasson posts on 2/21/2007 7:44:27 PM Hi Ute! I'm glad to see that you have commented on the book, but something has happened to this site as anytime I try to comment, it won't take my message. I'm trying again and hopefully my message will pop up. No one at ALL READERS seems to check their site... ANYHOW, so glad you are enjoying the book and good to say hello again through the e-mail address! (smile)... Talk later, Jean
Ute posts on 2/17/2007 1:03:35 PM Hey folks, Jean's new book is published - I start reading it yesterday. It's unique, unbelievable what happened to the Kurds in Iraq. Read her book and let's talk about it.
