Doodette posts on 8/30/2007 4:28:07 PM Most everyone figured out that the locket wqas in the black house after reading the HBP. And that R.A.B was Regulus Black. Well most everyone I know.
potato posts on 8/29/2007 11:42:27 PM voldemort doesnt gain power of the wand by stealing it because he didnt actually defeat dumbledore. and malfoy was the true master. but then harry overpowered malfoy in order to get his wand. he didnt just take the wand out of the dead hand of someone that he never defeated. thats how he had dracos wand at hogwarts. so harry was in fact the true owner of the elder wand. "This was the wand of draco malfoy. was? isnt it still his? perhaps not. if you took it-i did-then it may be yours. of course, the manner of taking matters. much also depends upon the wand itself. in general, however, where a wand has been won, its allegiance will change." and voldemorts curse rebounded on him because the wand would not kill its own master.you were right about that part. well, its kinda late! night!

Lucy posts on 8/28/2007 11:10:26 PM The elder wand never became Harry's. The elder wand was Dumbledore's until Malfoy disarmed him (since Snape killing Dumbledore was planned, it's not considered defeat). So then, at the beginning of the 7th book, the elder wand is Malfoy's, but Voldemort ultimately gains posession of it by stealing it from Dumbledore's tomb. Then, Harry take's Malfoy's wand from Malfoy manor. So, when Voldemort attempts to kill Harry at the end, and Harry has Malfoy's (the master of the elder wands) wand, the wand recognizes that it is fighting its own master, and so the curse rebounds.
potato posts on 8/28/2007 9:40:37 PM okay, so dumbledore got the elder wand when he defeated grindelwald. then on top of the astronomy tower draco disarmed him because he couldnt bear to kill him. but snape killed dumbledore, so voldemort thought that snape was the knew master of the wand. but it was actually malfoy. so voldemort stole the wand from dumbledores tomb. but at the malfoys manor harry disarmed draco and then took his wand. in the shrieking shack voldy killed snape because he thought that the wand wasnt working for him because snape was still alive. so he killed snape. then at the final battle harry figured out that he was the new master of the elder wand, and told voldy then killed him....but technically voldy killed himself because his own curse rebounded on him. but my whole explanation didnt really help deconfuse you...more simply, dumbly killed grindelwald and got the wand. then draco disarmed dumbly and got it. then harry disarmed draco and got it. and the whole snape voldy thing was thrown in just to confuse us innocent readers and voldemort. the end! haha. sorry, i love trying to explain complicated things and just making them more so. and, i just have to say that i totally predicted the whole 'locket in the cabinet at the black house' thing about two months ago. bye!
Doodette posts on 8/28/2007 5:11:46 PM Yrah I remember that. I got banned too. But all I did was change how I spelt my name. I prefer to spell it Dudette, but it wouldn't let me post then. btw what was your Snape theory?
SneeringSoupSnaper posts on 8/26/2007 3:14:23 AM If you're thinking of the crazy guy.... That's me! Yeah I had a string of names because I kept getting banned. ):
Doodette posts on 8/23/2007 1:29:39 AM I don't think I'm getting him confused with anyone else. Didn't he have a string of post names? Maybe I am... Anyways what was his Snape theory? I thought it was wierd about Dumbledore even having thoughts about being superior to muggles. I m still not sure how the Elder Wand became Harry's. Did Malfoy use the disarming spell on Dumbledore?
Dizzy posts on 8/22/2007 10:14:30 PM I don't beleive one bit of it! But it could be true... I mean he was perfect in every way this could be the one thing thta he wants but can't have. Mwhahahaha!
Smileysays posts on 8/22/2007 8:08:14 PM Well, I thought it was a little unrealistic of Dumbledore to want to take over the world, but I guess he has to have a weakness because no one is perfect, and we know why he never took up the position of Minister of Magic. Umm, Doodette, are you getting confused of SSS with someone else? He's only been wrong about Snape, and the whole Mundungus/Kreacher thing we came up with together. Also, there aren't really any more things to theorize about, so hmmm...
