John should take a look at what Eric Flint has done with his "1632" series. Open up discussion with his readers for an universe of ideas & angles. Thus avoiding the trench that Heinlein fell into after "stranger in a Strange Land."

Just finished Designated targets. One of the best books I read in a long long time.
Please, how long before book 3 comes out. ( I know book 2 was just released I had it on order from B&N ).
