John Maddox Roberts Message Board

Dave C posts on 10/22/2006 10:59:06 PM When I was a teen, I read through all the Falcon books John Maddox Roberts wrote under the name Mark Ramsay. Did the fifth book (the Greek Fire) ever come out?
Pauline, Edinburgh posts on 2/20/2006 8:05:39 AM I just love these books. People, I'm sure, say that then go on to say, 'but...'. This isn't a 'but' but a 'Yippee!'. I am a lexicographer who specializes in Scots and I have noticed that you have the odd Scotticism in this series of novels (probably in your other books too but I haven't read those). This is now explained as I have discovered that you lived in Scotland. May I ask when and where? I am just back from the Eternal City (abit of an obsession) where I gave the Immortal Memory at the Burns Supper of the Roman Caledonian Society. Someone has just made me a present of the Seven Hills which I understand is a SciFi novel. Well, we'll 'gie it a birl'. Best wishes Pauline

"King of the Wood"was so good,I read it once a year. And"Conan the Valorous"is my favorite.I read it at a good point in my life.especially where Conan kills the Bull, and saves the warrior queen. Thanks once more.

coyote posts on 7/5/2005 11:45:03 PM Many well written books have been written by John Maddox Roberts, but i would love to see more books written in Stormland Series. Of all his books, these were the most riveting to read and the 2 rivals and their clashes were stuff of legends. Its time for another book in this series to be written.
Bob posts on 1/27/2005 3:03:32 PM I've just finished reading books 1 through 5 of Stormlands. Are any more forthcoming?
