luke posts on 12/6/2005 7:03:40 AM hi my name is luke and i live in australia my grade 7 teacher read the first book to us because she believed us to be mature enough to have them read and i am greatful to her for doing that because without her i would not have noticed the books i have read all 7 books of the tommorow series 4 times and finished them the fastest in 5 and a half days i love the books. After a while i became bored because i wanted to read more and go deeper into that time that ellie and friends were in because it was like you were right there with them destroying the airfield and witnessing chris die so i then found the first book of the ellie chronicals while i lived i have read it 6 times the fastest being two hours and awaited the next book of the series i dont know how many books are going to be in the series and i can only hope that there is as many or more these are a series of books that i hope to pass on to my kids and them to thiers again my name is luke im 16 from australia thankyou for your time
Nancy Orens posts on 10/18/2005 9:38:01 PM I am a reading specialist in he NYC shcools and I work in a high school in Queens, NY. I taught Letters From the Inside for the 1st time last term. My students could NOT put it down! Kids who had not read a novel in a long time were up until 1 or 2 AM reading it! Our class discussions were quite intense and it enabled them to vent and/or voice opinions about many issues that were mentioned or inferred in the novel. Does anyone else have a teaching guide for it? If you do please post a reponse... My students wish that John Marsden would write a sequel to see what else happened to Tracey and Mandy.

Criti_Girl posts on 9/8/2005 3:47:09 PM OMG! Okay, so the book itself wasn't GREAT, but then again I'm not that fond of letters back and forth for a story. But the ending is CHILLING... What was going through Steve's head? But I think Marsden could have made Steve seem more psycho... still, it has an ending that gives you goosebumps.
Kristen posts on 8/27/2005 2:02:05 AM The first time I read this book was about 5 years ago when I was in year 10 at High School. After collecting some of John Marsdens books, I read this one first as it was a favourite. I love books when you get to figure out the endings, and this one was a bit difficult. My conclusion is - Mandy stopped writing because of her brothers violent ways and could have possibly killed Mandy and/or her family. I think Tracey was imprssoned because of this reason (Hint - read about her dream in her boxing day letter - 26th) Dec)maybe something like being in a gang and killing etc?

Jay posts on 7/3/2005 5:47:22 PM i think this book was great it had lots of twists in it and was interesting, the only thing is that they should have put the ending in but i could figure out what happened. steve killed mandy and her family on boxing day - for all those who wanted to know

I encourage every young person in Australia or even the world to read it because it really does have a big impact on your life and makes you see things differently. Thankyou John Marsden for enspiring me to take up writing again!

Chris posts on 4/7/2005 7:32:06 PM I absolutely loved the tomorrow series. I accidently read the whole series backwards but it was still really good. After that i think i read the whole series again (in the right order this time) and still loved it just as much. Since then i think ive read the series another 3 times that is how much i enjoyed the books. Will somebody please tell me when the next book of the Ellie ChronicleS is coming out!!!!!
