Amy Samuel posts on 4/27/2008 4:54:31 PM After re-reading the Margaret of Ashbury books many times, I really wish Mrs. Riley would give us another or two. At this point inmher life, surely she can find time to do this. Amy.
posts on 10/10/2006 8:25:12 PM I love to listen to audio books as I spend much time in the car. Does anyone know if JMR's books will be published in audio?
posts on 9/13/2006 1:52:23 AM This author's Margaret of Ashbury books are superb. I'm looking forward to the third in the series. 2007? Finally! I've read all of Riley's novels more than once and, luckily, have the entire collection in hardcover copies (good condition used) purchased online. It was well-worth the time, effort and money!

posts on 7/18/2006 12:21:45 PM Amazon has this book as being published on Jan 23 2007!! So much for spring - summer of 2006 and it's only in paperback and all my other JMR book are in hardcover....oh well. The Margaret of Ashbury trilogy is definately the best of her book but I enjoyed the other ones as well especially the Serpent Garden. I love her feisty female characters. If you are dying for something to read until it is published, I suggest anything by Diana Gabaldon or a novel named Pope Joan is also very good.
posts on 4/19/2006 1:33:35 PM I don't know the publisher, but I just saw a story stating they will be out in May 2006. Patience is a virtue!
Jayce posts on 2/7/2006 2:04:18 AM Thanks for the information Gwy! Do you know who will be publishing it?
Gwyn posts on 1/24/2006 6:26:56 PM After spending several years searching for The Water Devil, I finally contacted Judith Merkle Riley, searching her out on-line. She told me that all three books will be republished in the US in English in spring-summer 2006. At this point, I'd contact a book store and ask them for info. Good Luck!
mary posts on 1/13/2006 8:33:21 PM i thought her hair was red too, but after rereading In Pursuit of the Green Lion there is a passage that describes her hair as a pale ash brown (top of page 23 in the paperback version)
Brenda posts on 11/1/2005 8:47:08 PM Why is "The Water Devil" not published in English? Is German Judith Merkle Riley's native language? We English speaking fans sure would appreciate a translation!
Jayce posts on 9/10/2005 3:10:06 PM The Historical Novel Society is a resource for information. Check Amazon for books published in languages other than english. I'm also a huge JM Riley fan, and would love to know if she has any new books coming out.
