Sara posts on 7/24/2007 12:37:50 AM A while ago I read the book Tiger Eyes by Judy Blume. It was a really great book. One of my favorites, actually. If you have to read some book than I suggest you read this one.
posts on 8/10/2006 12:32:32 PM My son was just required to read this book over the summer. Unlike many other moms, I have no fond memories of this book from childhood In fact until this summer I had never heard of it. I found this story to be well written but very shallow and not having any valuable lesson to encourage a child. What it seems to teach is that if you are cute you can do whatever you please and everyone else will take care of things. It teaches children like Peter to tolerate bad behavior and to expect very little justice. Isn't that just what our nation has become. Congratulations to Judy Blume for contributing to the mindless decay of our children, and to the educators that endorse her.


posts on 7/12/2006 2:42:25 AM So I'm an adult now but I have to say WOW!! This book was really great... I first read it when I was thirteen .. and it was so touching that I cried!! I still love this book.
