Amanda posts on 2/6/2010 12:17:07 PM My daughter is doing a class project on you and needs to know your date of birth. I have looked everywhere and cannot seem to locate this information. Could you please advise what your date of birth is? Thank you for your time.
Katelyn A posts on 1/26/2010 6:56:48 PM Thanks for the information. It will help. It sounds like you have done some really fun things!
Judy posts on 1/25/2010 10:33:36 PM Hi Katelyn! I am so honored to be your favorite author and would be happy to tell you a bit about myself. I was born in New York City where I went to school and still live. Before writing books I wrote for TV. One show I created for Nickelodeon was called "Eureeka's Castle." I also wrote parades for TV including The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I have written books for the Olsen Twins and lots of mysteries. I hope to write many, many more! Thanks again, Katelyn and good luck with your report! Judy

Katelyn A posts on 1/25/2010 9:06:50 PM I am doing a report on my favorite author-You! One of my paragraphs needs to tell about your biographical information. Can you give me some, or tell me a site that has it?
Judy posts on 11/3/2009 11:21:52 PM Hi JB! I wrote Vulture Shock shortly before The Lion King movie was released back in the early 90's. I wish I could answer your questions about the illustrations but I had no communication with the artists. My editors were the ones who approved the illustrations. Hope that helps a bit! Thanks for posting!
JB posts on 10/13/2009 4:42:41 AM Hello, Julie. I have a question about one of your older books, "Vulture Shock" from The Lion King: Six New Adventures. In it, you describe a couple of lions in it named Leo and Mega (who you describe as "an old lion with a full mane"). They only appear together in one of the book's illustrations, and there's an illustration with only one of them in it later in the book. However, it's not clear from the text who is who. In one illustration there is a golden lion (who is difficult to make out since he is in the background) and a tan lion. The tan lion has a few lines in his forehead and has a pretty large mane, making him fit the "old lion with a full mane" description of Mega. But later on there's a scene where Leo is present but Mega apparently isn't, and the accompanying illustration shows that same tan, full-maned lion. In spite of what the writing implies, some fans insist that the tan lion is Mega and the golden one in the background of the first picture is Leo. Was there some lack of communication between you and the illustrators, or did you really intend the tan lion to be Leo while the golden one was Mega? I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this kind of question, but I figure it couldn't hurt. (I wish I could post links to the illustrations to make things clearer, but apparently the forum won't let me.) Thanks!
Liana posts on 4/1/2009 1:51:30 PM Hi, I'm Liana. I wanted to say Thank-You very much.
Judy posts on 3/26/2009 3:26:39 PM Hi Liana! Thanks for choosing "Bye Bye Boyfriend" for your book project! A little info about me: I grew up in New York City where I still live. Before writing books I wrote children's television shows for Nickelodeon and WWOR-TV in New York. Since then I've been writing books such as the Mary-Kate and Ashley series you are reading now. I'm so glad you enjoy them. Good luck with your book project, Liana!
Liana posts on 3/26/2009 3:04:21 PM Hi, I really like your books about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.. I'm doing a project about the book Bye-Bye Boy-Friend and tbe teacher told me to do some research about you and I can't find. Can you give me some information about you, please? Or a site that I can make at least half of an A4 Paper?
Judy posts on 3/10/2009 3:58:21 PM Hi Alix! Thanks so much for your post! I know a little German since my parents were from Germany so I'm guessing Geheim Club means Secret Club in English? If so I wrote that book about 8 years ago! I live in New York City and write books and sometimes TV shows for kids. I'm glad you like the Mary-Kate and Ashley books. I never met the twins but I feel like I know them by now! Good luck with your report -- and Danke! Judy
