md posts on 7/19/2005 5:14:49 PM I adore julie garwood's books. the only book series i did not like were the roses series. i am looking forward to her new book slow burn.

Brandy posts on 7/14/2005 10:52:10 PM I love her books, when I read The Bride I could not put it down. Even my sister read it and she usually doesn't read historical books. We were both wondering if you are going to write about Jamie's sister The one that married Daniel. I was wondering if he did keep a mistress. My sister and I think that he does't have one but wanted her to think he was. I think that a relative lives with them and just giving her a hard time. I would like to know if there will be a book out on them.
Andrea posts on 6/27/2005 10:42:38 PM I would recommend the early Linda Howard books. They have the same plot almost, with the hero and heroine fighting and in the end they end up together. Try her.
kay posts on 6/18/2005 5:55:16 PM She is the best writer. The only writer who can make a kind of book that i,an avid book reader, can't put down. Another good writer is Hannah Howell, no garwood, but definitely worth while. Though reckless isn't any good her Highland series comes very close to garwood. You come to love the Murrays.{Highland Destiny is a bit slow but,is good nontheless, the books keep getting better} Has similar plot types.Basically man protecting woman from numerous deadly enemies. present day writer Nora Roberts is good too. she also has dozens of books. All three authors create memorable charachters and great families.
April posts on 6/14/2005 5:01:34 PM I love Julie Garwood's style of writing (historical) and have read and re-read them all. She unfortunately has not written too many books so I am desperately trying to find another author that writes like her-you know, no betrayals, hating and constant fighting until the very end. She doesn't involve all that in her books yet keeps the story exciting and interesting. Can you suggest another author? Thanks.
VCP posts on 6/9/2005 3:53:50 PM Will Julie Garwood ever write anymore romances? Her novels are great and I want to read more. Thanks, VCP.
