Yes, we are planning to republish Sinbad & Me at some point. The schedule is still uncertain. But we have acquired brand new and beautiful cover art for Sinbad by the same artist who did the stunning cover for the Sinbad prequel, The Blue Man. Blue Man will come out first, then Sinbad, then the two Sinbad sequels (Mystery of the Witch Who Wouldn't, Ghost of Hellsfire Street), all with new cover art.

Does anyone know if Sinbad and Me is being considered for republication? I'd love a copy of it.

Lauren - The copyright for Blue Man, and for virtually all of Kin Platt's books, is held by the family. There are NO titles in the public domain. We are trying to republish it soon -- an attempt to do so last year didn't quite pan out. Just out of curiousity, why do you want to know?

Hi- I am wondering who owns the copyright to The Blue Man by Kin Platt? Is it his family, or is it now public domain? thanks!

I'm replying to a post by Cattalyna on 7/31/2005, who asked whether Kin Platt's The Boy Who Could Make Himself Disappear was ever made into a movie.
I'm Kin Platt's son, and I can say, YES, it was -- a really miserable movie called Baxter. It came out in 1972, starring Patricia Neal , Jean-Pierre Cassel , Britt Eklund , Lynn Carlin , Scott Jacoby and Sally Thomsett .
Patricia Neal was the only good thing about this movie. Britt Eklund was fun to look at. The movie didn't have much to do with the book, sad-to-say, unlike what my father was promised by the producers.
None of my late father's other 34 published books have yet been made into movies, although I'm working on that -- and I'd like to remake "The Boy," too!

Hello! I recently found my old copy of the boy who could make himself disappear, and I remembered that they were going to make a movie based on it. does anyone know if they ever did? I can't find anything about the book online, much less a movie.
