Kurt Vonnegut is a genius writer. I find it idiotic when people define him as a Sci Fi writer because obviously he is not. His style is sometimes dark mostly humorous in a very sad thought-provoking way.Read 'Deadeye Dick','Slaughter House 5','Galapagos'. WOW what a genius mind. My only regret is that I didn't get to meet such a great author.He deserves Nobel Prize more than some of those idiotic writers who were given the prize for political motives only. Sad. When you read Vonnegut, do it slowly and taste and feel the words and sentences and thoughts flow freely into your heart and mind and you are one with the author, as if he's writing just for you and the only one who's getting it is you only.You'll pity any one who didn't read Vonnegut or misunderstood him.I LOVE YOU K.

How did I miss reading Vonnegut? No idea, could be age? Catching up now. Welcome to the Monkey House. A collection of stories first published in various mags. Title story brings the question to my mind: Is it time for us to have Ethical Suicide Parlors? Have you a favorite story from this book? Recommendations?
