im rereading the book right now and im finding that some of the things i had questions on are there. Im still kinda upset about the ending but i like the way she led up to it just wish she would have ended it differently. I don't think i'll ever get tired of the book, which is why im so glad they are making it inot a movie, i hope they don't change it to much because Libba said she doesn't have much say in whats going on in the movie

They're trying, but I don't think it'll be out for a bit, since the director's engaged in anther project right now.

yea me too i wish he didn't die. r they really making it into a movie? i don't think they will choose anybody good to b kartik. he's to good to have someone act as him! lol : )

I really wish that Kartik didn't have to be killed off and he and Gemma lived hapily ever after. I think everyone feels that same disappointment. It's so sad...I wish they could have been together.

I just got done reading the first two books and I loved them. I read them both in two days. The were incredible. I love the time period it is set in and the fact that it has magic in it. I was dumbfounded after I read them. I was begging my mom to take me to the bookstore after school today. She wouldn't though. :(
Libba Bray is an amazing writer. I wrote a paper on her in my honors English class. I got an A on it too. :)
Ugh, I wish Kartik and Gemma would become a couple or something. Its so fustrating. Oh, Simon Middleton made me so mad. He would not be the slightest bit interested in Gemma if he knew her better. He just distracted her from Kartik. Ohwell, at least he's out of the picture now.
That would be so great if there was a movie for it. :)

A lot of people have been asking about this, so I just thought I'd mention that I'm pretty sure Polly went to Paris with Felicity and her mother after Felicity got her inheritance.

The movie will definitely not come out this year- they would've had to cast in the beginning of 2006. There have been no auditions- they're just finishing up the final script. It was not affected by the writer's strike.

does anybody know anything about the movie? like auditions or anything? and i don't think that gemma would ever be able to free kartik, but i would likea fourth book to answer all of the unanswered questions lol. like what happened to polly?

Wow I havn't been on in so long, I missed this! I just finished my book and now I think i'm gonna reread the series! Don't you miss it? I can't wait till the movie.
