Yeah there were alot of thing left open, and like someone said earlier, what happened to her necklace she mentions it in the beginning but never again i don't think,also i don't understand that whole pippa death thing wasn't she already dead? doesn't that mean that she crossed over if she died again?

I thought it was also sad that Mother Elena died. I always wondered if she knew how to get into the realms or what? I wanted to learn more in depth about her and Ms. McCleethy. She had a very tragic death. I miss Kartik.

i think it was kind of traumatic. i love kartik. i wish she would write another book all about him!! jk jk but i wish she could write another one and he comes back. i agree about the unanswered questions thing too. and so wendy lived??? i was confused.

wow, I don't write for a week and BAM! You sure do write fast. I have some thoughts about the unanswered questions, and stories she began but didn't end. What was with Gemma not being able to open the door of light, until the very end? Why couldn't she before? we weren't given a reason. There was just so much unanswered.

I don't know why, but I didn't see Kartik's death as that traumatic. I guess since he was in that weird realms/tree situation it seems like something could end up freeing him-for example if someone else took his place like he took Gemma's (who was going to take Eugenia's) but he hadn't been corrupted? And why is Simon's last name (Middleton) different from his parents' (Denby?)Does anyone know if we can ask Libba Bray any more questions on her LJ? If so, how?

yeah. i really like happy endings. okay i have to tell you that after kartik died, i threw the book across the room and started crying!! i know i am such a baby!! : ) i finished the rest of the book the next day. i never really liked pippa in the beginning but i'm glad she died. i also think that just because this book was the last in the series, that doesn't mean everyone has to die!!!!!!!!

I totallyyy agree to, Kartik and Gemma could have been together somewhere ! And the fact that he died his second time in the realms, asfter the first trip was so good, sucked. And it REALLY sucks that the book is not going to be related.

I totally agree with you, on the whole it is realistic that they could be together. I mean if Anne, this very plain girl can do broadway and Felicity is a Lesbian during a time when it's not accepted, than it's possible for each of the girls to have their share of unrealisticness. I mean i really do see her going back to India with Kartik and living their lives the way people should. Simple and happy, living away from the whole money society that she seems to hate anyway. I mean America seems a little farfetched if you ask me, what father would let their daughter travel to a country separated by an ocean where as in India they at least lived there and grew up there and loved it there. I don't think it's too hard to imagine. Sorry if I like happy endings that don't end horribly.

I really think that Kartik and Gemma should have been together I mean that when Kartik died in the end, UGH! I just didn't like that part. They worked SO hard for their relationship and were finally getting together when BAM he's gone. I agree, him having only been there two times then dying there?? Weird. I didn't like the ending. and I do think that Kartik and Gemma could have been together I really do. Libba Bray should write another book where Kartik comes back. I miss him!! I cried when he died. : (
