Glenna Diva posts on 11/11/2009 3:35:49 AM Aloha Lilian, I live in the jungle in Hawai'i and do not get regular updates on you and your writings? I have missed Quill, KoKo and Yum Yum and the gang. Is there a new book coming out soon? Hope you are well and happy.
kim posts on 11/9/2009 11:56:47 PM I love these books, but I was so heartbroken that Polly was leaving everything to stay in Paris. She left Qwill and her kittens who she adored. I hope another book comes out. I do look forward to them. It would be nice to have a series done like Murder She Wrote. I would definaitly watch it.
Susan D. Lloyd posts on 11/7/2009 12:53:34 PM I hope the Cat Who Smelled Smoke is published I love to snuggle on the couch and walk into Qwills world.

Ida B. posts on 11/5/2009 9:21:35 PM Lilian. I was so pleased to see a response from you recently I also had heard rumors that you were no longer with us. I am an adoring fan and just got 60 whiskers, I have read them all and loved every one. I only discovered you two years ago so I have been busily searching for earlier books. I have a wonderful book store that has helped me. Thanks again for your devotion to writing. I only hope that I can be so sharp when I am 95.
karen posts on 11/5/2009 7:21:06 PM Lilian, I have read every one of your books--at least once. As soon as they are available, I buy them in hardback & shelve them, once read, so I can reread them at will. I am so looking forward to The Cat Who Smelled Smoke. Mystery is my fav. genre, and you are definitely my fav. author--no matter that I am a "dog person"!
LaDean posts on 11/4/2009 12:55:51 AM I'm sorry but I don't believe Steven Spielberg is really interested in making a movie or movies of the Cat Who books. I think someone is pulling our collective leg. I guess it is because no one can get any info on Ms Braun. We don't know how her health is or what happened to "The Cat Who Smelled Smoke". I do hope she is OK and send Best Wishes.
Steven Speilburg posts on 11/3/2009 7:45:16 AM Yes it is true. I have cast Brad Pitt as Qwill and Sandra Bullock as Polly. Julia Roberts as Mildred and Alec Baldwin as Arch. Koko and Yumyum will be robotic computerized cats. Melinda will be played by Jody Foster and Jr. Goodwinter will be played by George Clooney. I will change the setting to Greenich Village in New York City and Qwill's profession will be a screen play writer on Broadway. Hixie will be a lesbian and will be played by Sarah Jessica Parker. Brody will be a dirty new york cop and........okay I am kidding
Marjorie posts on 11/2/2009 9:15:33 PM WOW. A Spielberg Cat Who movie. Who should play Quill? this is a great news. Is it true?
JoAnn posts on 10/31/2009 9:46:04 PM Dear Lilian, I am a great big fan of you and your books. It goes way back to the 80's. I keep checking all the emails, but nothing about if you are able to finish The Cat who Smelled Smoke. Also, I would like to know why you decided the sudden departure of Polly. This came out of the blue for me and gave me a broken heart just like Qwill. Anyway, I hope there is another book. I always thought this would make a great movie. Hope you are feeling well soon.
mimi brightingham posts on 10/31/2009 5:29:21 PM Thanks so much Steven, I'll pass the word on to Lilian, the extra cash will come in handy come Christmas time. Let's have tea :)
