Linda Berdoll Message Board

MargieBell posts on 11/10/2006 7:04:13 PM Ms. Anderson....Mrs. Berdoll signed a contract approximately 2 months ago, I think, to write the 3rd book. She didn't say if she had already started writting it or not so can't answer your question. Guess we will just have to be VERY patient and have a good reread of her two books already written. Sorry! Just not much information available.
Jillian Anderson posts on 11/10/2006 4:36:40 PM I've read both sequels to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I loved them both - was wondering when the third sequel will be published.
Lynn posts on 10/16/2006 3:55:58 PM I hope the next book, which I anxiously await, will fill out Colonel Fitzwilliam's character a bit more. He seemed to have turned very dull once he and Georgiana were married, and he was so dashing prior to that.

posts on 10/6/2006 10:04:18 AM Linda, I hope you will take us a little deeper into the psyche of Georgianna. I found it hard to buy her actions when there wasn't much dialogue between her or any other characters to make it viable. I really would like to see her character developed more. Thanks for continuing Jane Austen's work!!
posts on 9/26/2006 12:52:22 PM I have read both books twice and I was never sure if Darcy slept with someone or not. Thanks for clearing that up. I can't wait for the third book and I would love to see a movie but only if they keep it in line with the book. I still would love to see Colin and Jennifer play Darcy & Elizabeth.
posts on 9/26/2006 11:35:29 AM I have just finished reading the second sequel. I absolutely love both books and am anxiously awaiting another installment.
posts on 9/20/2006 9:17:24 PM thank you so much for clarifying things for me. i have already bought book 2 and will be reading it very soon
posts on 9/20/2006 6:11:32 PM Tella, Darcy does remain faithful to Lizzy and if the books are made into a movie my vote would be for Matthew instead of Colin. I like Colin Firth but he did not do it as Darcy for me and he's way to old to play the part. Can't wait for the third book to come out.
posts on 9/20/2006 8:21:41 AM Hey Tella, I read both books and no Darcy doesn't cheat. He realizes it's not Elizabeth and dismisses her from his room.
posts on 9/20/2006 12:22:19 AM Ok, i'm a bit confused here. near the end of the first book when darcy is in france with his relative, does he actually sleep with the Roux's daughter?(that is, she sneaked into his bed) Please help...I really want to know... thanks
