Incorrect info: "Ben is their son. Ben, a mean brat, is nothing like Ceddie, and the old earl sees that."
Ben is not the son, he is Minna's ex-husband. The boy's name is Tom. And in neither the book nor the movie is the boy portrayed as a "mean brat." In fact, he never utters a word. In this movie he is only seen once for a second at a distance. In the book he is happy to get away from his scheming mother and go to live with his kind father.
