I totally agree! Mark and Clare should have more adventures together, or at least there should be a story of their kids!

After reading "The China Garden", I was sitting on the edge of my seat, wondering what happens next! I would really like to see a sequel to this book, also, a prequel, since it was mentioned.
The prequel - about the Abbess-Elect and her relationship with the Second Earl, and how their situation played out. I would really like to know how the Benison was entrusted to her in particular and why she chose the Second Earl as her co-Guardian.
The sequel - well, I had two ideas...
1) talk about the "dangers" that Mark and Clare have to protect the Benison from and what they do to stop it. I dont know what sort of dangers they could be, unless you go into the subject of a really ruthless historian or something like that. Also, The LOVE story. I think it should be expanded on. really, it has potential!! Do they have kids? does Adrian come back into the story? What about Clare's mom?
2)If that doesnt work out, put the book in the future. Talk about a few generations down the road when the Benison is again, in great danger.
There is so much that can be expanded! Add more strange powers to Clare to make her "the strongest Guardian yet", or maybe a strange creatures makes it way into the story. Or about the prequel, You could even go into King Arthur, since it was discussed in the book!
So many ideas!
