My order has just been cancelled! Blackwells claim that the book is out of print! Well it hasn't even been IN print yet! Argh! All other sites still say 2nd Nov, will just have to wait and see! Fingers crossed!

Aww... What a shame.
At least I didn't get my hopes up too much. Sorry about your disappointment.
I've virtually given up on this book. :(

i had preordered strange fate from blackwell books but to my utter devastation - they've told me that my pre order has been cancelled as the publisher states it is out of print
i'm so disappointed

I just checked the old Strange fate book listing on Amazon. It has now been changed to 2nd November 2006. I wish next Thursday would hurry up and get here. At least then I'll know one way or the other.

Yeah, I saw it listed on Blackwells too. I'm not going to preorder it. I'm going to wait and see what happens. I don't want to get my hopes up. Thanks for the updates Zinola and Gem :)

I have just ordered strange fate from Blackwells bookshop, they are shipping it to me in the 2nd Nov. Fingers crossed.

i went into waterstones today and the women said that it was 2nd november as the relese date however you cant reserve a copy well i couldnt anyway. she said that she would give me a call if there was any hint of a problem with the relese. I'll keep you posted

I'd love November the 2nd to be the correct date. However, I'm still a bit dubious. Amazon uk don't even have the book listed. Oh well, we haven't got long to wait. It would be nice if it did come out. (fingers crossed)

Well said Mage, I have seen loads of rubbish stuff on the net so I only take notice of the legit sites like waterstones, I've alson been in and spoken to a member of waterstones staff and they have confirmed that the 2nd of november is still the correct date!

You know anything 'she' has written to anyone.. is probably not written by her! we can only accept what like waterstones etc says to us.. anything posted on the internet is hardly ever true... magex
