L.J. Smith Message Board

ya girl posts on 12/2/2006 9:44:01 PM Gina, try to be polite. I do not think anyone is trying to hurt LJ Smith here. In fact she most likely be happy to see that people still care about her writing. People are upset and I think that should be allowed but I do not see one post that is hurtful to LJ Smith because i all i see is disapointment.
Ang posts on 12/2/2006 7:47:01 PM you guys need to give LJ Smith a break. She has had some famiy things going on and obviously that is more important than putting out this book. I am a long time fan and will continue to be patient for the tenth book in her series and hopefully many more. Positive vibes for LJ Smith and her struggles.

Michaela posts on 11/28/2006 4:39:11 PM Shea, you may want to look into Nora Roberts latest series for a good read till LJ Smith gets busy putting out strange fate
Stace posts on 11/28/2006 11:10:20 AM Do you know what the funny thing is? the Waterstones near me told us that she was dead! I was heartbroken! i mean obviously the 10th book would never be released but the fact a brilliant novelist has died. Then i find out online she hasn't, and that came with the realisation that Waterstones are useless. Not one store knows who's coming or going and lack of communication with the publishers and each other is to blame. I love L.J.Smiths books. Now i don't read alot, the 1st chapter of any book determines whether i like it or not, But she has always managed to catch my imagination from the first sentence.I am Patient, and will wait longer if need be but can someone please get their dates straight!
Shea posts on 11/25/2006 8:44:51 PM I really was trying to be hopeful that this time would be the time that the book finally came out. I've always been a big supporter of L.J Smith, but I am frustrated. Waterstone cancelled their order with me, and honestly if L.J Smith hasn't found her motivation to keep writting agian, she might not ever. If anyone knows about any good books I'd appreciate some suggestions. I think it's about that time to move on and let it go. I think the publishers and everyone else are going to keep stringing us along forever.
Twilight posts on 11/17/2006 11:14:28 PM 'Cassie' started a petition to get the publishers to publish all of LJ's other books, not Strange Fate. I don't think it's really right to create a petition to get Strange Fate out. I look at it this way if it comes out it comes out, if it doesn't it doesn't. It's not the end of the world. Do I want it to come out? Yes, I do, but not at LJ's expense.
Michaela posts on 11/17/2006 5:00:39 PM I think it means Lisa Jane. I would be interested in an online petition but I think we should find a way to go right to L.J. Smith herself. If we can track down her address we could all send her letters of outrage. The more letters, the more attention, and we are heard.
Texashottie posts on 11/17/2006 4:22:31 PM What does the L and J stand for? I was wondering this forever.
