Lorenzo died on May 30, 2008 at age 30 - I just discovered it on a website -saw the movie last night and was frustrated that no new updates had been added - thank god for google

If you would like to send a note to Augusto odone go to the web site, The myelyn project. His father and his lifelong friend, Omoura was with him as he passed away at home. It was the 30th of May.

June 1, 2008, Lorenzo Odone has died today. He was 30 years old. His parents were told that he would not live past the age of eight. He is now in heaven with his beautiful mother that pasted away several years ago of Cancer. They will have a relationship now that they could never have here on earth. There is a party going on in heaven. Let's all pray for his father and friends, which were many, that they will find peace in this time of sadness.

hahaha im sorry but this is kind of funny i love how in the movie Lorenzo's dad is smoking like no other but his mom dies of lung cancer wtf??!?!

The Myelin Project has all web sites listed and also their home address for you to write the father or send card to Lorenzo. They live in Chevy chase Maryland.

Just saw the movie again and was so touched by it...Is Lorenzo still alive and if so, where is he living? Can he speak, walk?
My thoughts and prayers are with those who suffer from this hideous disease.
