Lorna Freeman Message Board

Chess posts on 3/17/2008 5:30:48 PM I have research this title and book for a few days now and I am getting a run-around from both the publisher and the public relations rep for Lorna Freeman. Evidently no one seems to want to comment on whether or not this third book is going to be published and released. Does anyone else have any information? Has the book been released and where can we get it?
Susan Willey posts on 3/8/2008 5:39:55 PM Is Lorna Freeman's third book SHADOWS PAST going to be part of the Roc line in 2008 or has Penguin dropped her contract?
Fred posts on 3/8/2008 4:26:07 PM It's remarkable to me that the author hasn't commented on the fate of her last novel or what is to come in the future. Her readers are entitled to some news.

liam posts on 3/5/2008 12:06:25 PM i would like to know why the publisher keep putting back the release of this book
Peg posts on 2/18/2008 2:59:19 AM Which Amazon, Lynn, USA, Canada or UK? Coz all I've gotten is a postcard from Borders saying try back in a couple of months and a run-around from Penguin....Can't even find a listing that lets you order on Amazon. Would love to know so we can deluge them with requests for the book...Thanks, Peg
Lynn posts on 2/12/2008 2:01:06 PM I just got a "confirm because it's been rescheduled" notice from Amazon on Shadows Past, which is how I found this board and the information about Penguin.
ellan posts on 2/2/2008 10:33:36 PM Would love to believe it will be printed (or ebook) but publisher is still not advertising the book. Pub told me via email, they are not going to publish.
nautika posts on 2/2/2008 10:02:44 PM Borders Books shows it as In Print and available. All 432 pages! Yippee!
Christine posts on 2/1/2008 7:54:14 PM I pre-ordered Shadows Past online, and it's listed as shipping to me February 14. I'm not sure if the amazon is just going to keep pushing the shipping date back until I decide to change the order or not. But I would think they'd tell me the book is not going to be published. It is all very confusing and disappointing not knowing what's going on.
nautika posts on 1/30/2008 6:54:27 PM I went to Waldenbooks today to pick up another book and asked for information on Lorna Freeman's next book. The clerk waiting on me (not the one best acquainted with the fantasy section) said it was due out in February. She was reserving it for me when I left and she hasnt called me to say she was unable to do so. Sounds too good to be true, doesnt it?
