jess posts on 4/10/2008 7:26:21 AM Well hey there all you avid readers. Have just done Cat's Eye for A Levels and whilst I missed half of the messages the first time, rereading has revealed an intricately plotted book. Atwood writes in layers and its up to us to peel these away in order to get the nub of her story. I look forward to reading another soon.
kathryn posts on 2/25/2008 3:29:09 PM Why does margaret atwood make the males so weak and the women secrative? Are they like that in all her novels and poems?

Emily posts on 10/16/2007 9:10:28 AM Hey, I'm a senior in high school, and I'm doing a project on why Margaret Atwood is such an important voice in literature. If anyone here would like to help me out by simply telling me your opinions, it would be much appreciated. Oh, and to the ninth grader reading Oryx and Crake, I'm a bit jealous. Reading that book for the first time was really exciting, hope you're enjoying it. Things to pay attentions to...all the changing technology. It'll be really important later on. I don't recall exactly what's going on at page 50, but I hope you're loving it.

Samantha posts on 8/21/2007 12:40:00 AM Hello, My name is Samantha and I'm supposed to read Alias Grace, for an AP class and I will have an assessment over the book. I have not finished it yet and school commence soon. If anyone has finished reading it and has a pretty good understanding, could they please share with me the middle to the end. Thank you, I will appreciate it.
posts on 7/16/2006 10:16:29 PM This book is such a drag...too much describing, so much that the story gets confusing and hard to understand. 1/5 for a start rating.
Anon posts on 1/27/2006 4:34:32 AM I have recently read Cats Eye and have decided to study it further. I was just wondering if anyone would give their views on how they feel Elaine copes with the world around her during her childhood and how she overcome the brutalilty she suffered. Thank You.x.
Need Help posts on 10/24/2005 1:17:42 PM I read Rape Fantasies by Margaret Atwood. Now I was asked by my English teacher to write an essay about it. I am not very good at finding symbolism and different themes in a story. I would really appretiate people's veiws on the story so I can get some kind of writing ideas. Thanks.
