Marlena posts on 12/3/2007 10:30:30 PM Can anyone tell me the order of the Eden books? I've read This Other Eden and The Prince of Eden. I bawled at the end of the second one. Would love to read the rest. Please get back to me. Thanks.
Glen McIntyre posts on 8/28/2007 11:43:51 PM I had Marilyn Harris as my creative writing teacher in the early 80s. she also wrote NIGHT GAMES,THE CONJURERS,THE DIVINER, THE RUNAWAY'S DIARY,THE PORTENT, BLEDDING SORROW AND HATTER FOX. Hatter Fox was made into a TV movie. I would also like to know if she is still living, but have not seen anything new from her since the late 80s.

test posts on 6/7/2007 9:32:33 PM Marilyn Harris' Eden Series was written in this order: This Other Eden (1977), the Prince of Eden (1978), The Eden Passion (1979), The Women of Eden (1980), Eden Rising (1982), American Eden (1987) and Eden and Honor (1989). They are all fabulously written, amazingly entertaining and highly memorable. D. Henderson
Carol posts on 6/2/2007 9:19:54 PM There are seven books in the series: This Other Eden The Prince of Eden The Eden Passion The Women of Eden ? ? Eden and Honor I can't remember the other two even though I read them. The 5th one takes place in the American South. Did you check back through these messages. I think someone must've list the whole series at one point.
Melinda Cates posts on 6/2/2007 6:12:35 PM Can you please list the correct order of this series of books. I do not want to read them out of sequence and can not seem to find a list in the books themselves that give the order. Thanks for the help, Melinda
Donna Henderson posts on 4/11/2007 4:24:01 PM I have read and re-read all seven of Marilyn Harris' Eden series books, starting with This Other Eden and ending with Eden and Honor. I also have all seven of these books in my library. They are my favorites. Her writing is amazing and her characters are incredibly memorable. You know how it is with most books; you read them and forget either the characters or story-line (sometimes both) inside of a few months. This has not happened to me with Ms. Harris' books, even after years of not reading them. I still remember the stories and the characters vividly. As a matter of fact, I was just thinking about rereading them again for the third time. I don't know why she stopped writing the series but I was very disappointed when she did. If anyone has any more information on this, I'd love to hear about it.
JC posts on 4/1/2007 12:04:02 PM I too am rereading the Edan series, she also wwrote the American Eden which I think was the last of the Eden books, in the front of American Edan they list 16 books. Is Marilyn Harris still alive? Is she still writing? She is the best I have ever read.
