If you read the Quartet up to the 3rd book, Fire, you will find that you know the dragon guides so well that page 463 truely brings them to life. In italics, they have a mental conversation and you can pick out who's speaking without contemplation, just read it like any other paragraph. Wonderful author, wonderful tale. 5 stars:)
