To anyone thinking of going on safari with Mark Ross: He puts people's lives in danger, and has mastered the art of lying for his own gain (i.e. money and ego). Do your homework, and heed the warnings you are reading on this web site...

I thought I knew Mark Ross. He led me to believe he was a caring, truthful and loving man - none of which turned out to be true. I was left with a broken heart and a lot less money.

Interesting to hear that Mark Ross has been promoting his books again. Funny, I feel like I should be receiving some of the proceeds from Predator since our very expensive safari with him ended up being one of his research excursions (little did we know). We found out much later that his latest book idea was why our safari turned out to focus solely on "predators"; we spent multiple days in one spot studying one pride of cats. One extremely unscrupulous man.

Beware of Mark Ross...I have been on safari with him and he is has perfected the art of lying and using others for personal gain. I was stupid enough to fall for the charm and false truths, and it proved distastrous - for me and the entire party on safari. Africa is amazing - Mark Ross is not.

If you are contemplating going on a Ross safari, think again. Mark Ross not only reinvents himself again and again but he is a pathological liar. He uses clients...especially women, for his own gain. Do not believe and do not be fooled by what he tells you. He also takes chances with his clients' lives. Mark Ross will do anything, say anything, to get what he wants most - money!

I have been truly blessed and privileged to travel with Mark Ross on 3 amazing, life-changing safaris. Mark is an amazing man - intelligent, knowledgeable, caring, passionate about sharing his love of his adopted Kenya with those lucky enough to be with him, and above all, safe, compassionate, and charismatic. If life allows me any more opportunities to be with him on safari, I will be the most fortunate woman I know. DANGEROUS BEAUTY captivates my soul and allows me to enter the life and anguish of a very private and amazing man. From the warmth of the heartbreakingingly beautiful sunrise on the Kenyan plain to the cries of the lion and hyena at night in camp, every moment on safari with Mark is a passionate adventure into a world I feel is "home." So to Mark I say, thank you for the most incredible moments and memories of my life. The time we have spent together on 3 safaris has been magical and precious and the highlight of my life. Let's do it again!
