Josephine posts on 10/9/2009 6:49:03 AM Hi Marlena, after reading 'a thousand days in Venice' for the second time I feel as though I have live part of your live with you the tears of joy and heart renching of leaving a place that you love. I was widowed for the second time and my sister recommended your book as I am also a trained chef, but lost all my creativness and no longer wanted to cook. I now have a new man in my life and long to cook some of your recipes and find myself open to another persons personality and seeing things in a different light as you did when you fell so for Fernando, nothing eles matters just to love and please one another. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart your discription of food and fabrics and places are wonderful and how I long to visit Venice. Thank you for helping with my healing. God Bless you, from Josephine.
June Knight posts on 1/12/2009 12:47:42 PM Dear Marlena, I am a very mature student doing a Creative Writing degree at Derby Univerity in England. For my dissertation I am researching how cookery and creative writng compliment each other. I would be eternally grateful if I could ask you a few questions by email or through your agent. Your book 'A thousand days in Venice'was spell binding, and this is the one I will quote from for my assignment. Yours sincerely June Knight
