James A Miller Jr posts on 10/27/2007 2:32:33 AM Is your husband John Malcolm, a descendant of Pvt. James Landreth Malcolm, Sr., CSA musician, of Guilford and Forsyth Counties, North Carolina? His wife was Mrs. Elizabeth 'Betty' Page Malcolm.
Marzetta Dennis posts on 3/29/2006 7:59:49 PM I had the pleasure of driving Ms. Malcolm from the airport to the Ritz-Carlton and then back to the airport during a recent engagement to the area. Because of confidentiality clauses-I could not admit to Ms. Malcolm that I knew who she was and ask her to autograph my book. I want to tell you all that she was one of the most pleasant clients I've had; I really enjoyed talking to her. She was very down to earth and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing with her about our area. I wish her much continued sucess and hope I have the opportunity to serve her again. Marzetta

To Mary Lee (Wolf) Malcolm posts on 10/6/2005 4:49:43 PM Hi Mary Lee: It's been a very long time since we last saw each other. I confess I have not yet read one of your books but plan to very soon. I just wanted to tell you how delighted I am about your success as an author! I read an article about you in the Highlands, NC newspaper - LOVE YOUR HATS! Best wishes for continued success. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving lady. Please give my regards to John. Take care, Celeste
Diane Doxey posts on 4/12/2005 8:02:01 AM I LOVED IT! I got my hands on a ARC and could not put it down. I adore when I can learn history in the midst of romance. It is quite obvious this author has a passion for her charaters. She has a way with words that keeps you engaged. It is a few notches above the average romance novels based on the backdrop and sophistication of charaters. This author seems to be an untapped talent. I can't wait to see what other ideas she comes up with. BRAVO to this fresh, new, and upcoming writer! Looking forward to seeing her name in our local bookstores!
Kirstie Radel posts on 3/17/2005 4:52:52 PM I recently got my hands on an advanced copy of this book, and was thrilled. I was so intrigued by the detail. I so respect an author who does such a great deal of research in order to make the story authentic. The detail in the book really took you to the time and place, and helped me connect with the characters. I was so in love with Martha. I so sympathized with Leo's delemas. I could completely identify with each primary character. When the story was over I was desperate for it to continue. I couldn't believe that was it, there wasn't another page to turn. I can't wait for the sequel! Sufficed to say, I loved this book and can't wait to hear what the rest of you readers think.
