Phil Mowrey posts on 10/16/2005 2:31:34 PM My father, Gail E. Mowrey, worked as a pipe-fitter at the Hanford Plant from 1953 to 1955. We lived in Richland. He died of cancer of the liver in 1971. I've often wondered if he was exposed to something at the plant. Reading "On the Home Front" gave me even more reason to wonder.
William Ellis posts on 2/2/2005 5:02:48 PM I would like to talk with any other people who would have worked in the area of the site. My father died of brain tumor and other cancer. He was a land surveyor and we lived in Mesa Washington. We use to buy milk from a dairy farm near the site according to my mother.I want to put together a report and find out if anyone else has had problems. We went to school in Connell Washington.
