Great to hear that we may get some more books from MLW. He is up there with my favourite authors of all time.

Thanks for the update. Will you post to this site if you are successful in getting any of the books published?

Hello all. It has been a while since I have posted on here. As I may have said, I am in possession of complete works "Somewhere out there" and "Broken Square" the former about a disbanded team of ex Selous Scouts and RLI who are commissioned privately to hunt down and retrieve three British students kidnapped and held to ransom in the Zimbabwean Bush and the later I shall keep to my chest for a while.
Rhodesia as I have said is heavy work. 14 completed chapters, pages of unedited notes, but a sound structure and largely complete, my uncle and Mike's twin brother Mark is now in custody of the manuscript and he plans on writing the end of the saga. I am now in talks with Harper Collins and Random House regarding the posthumous works and even about a republish of some of the older stuff.
A fourth work exists. "Storm Bringer" it is in hard copy, covered in dust after it was shunned by publishers in the early eighties. A seemingly dark and menacing foray into the world of black magic.
Thanks Everyone. Piers

Any luck in getting Broken Square and Somewhere Out There published?

I too am sorry to hear of his passing. I was trying to see if I could find any of his titles to put on my Kindle. I have read Dark Rose twice and find it a totaly riveting and engrossing read.

Wow, sorry to just see this. I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Mike Lunnon-Wood but in Zurich, he as a trainer and I as an actor for Raising the Bar. Can I find his books as e-books for my e-reader?

Presuamably in this era of e books the cost of publishing is much reduced. Have Broken Square and Somewhere out there been professionally edited?? I look forward to being able to read them in any format. Well done Piers.

I have today, formatted and recovered the full and complete manuscripts of both Broken Sqaure and Somewhere out there. I am seeking publishing agreements in the coming weeks. Hope this helps.

Mike mentioned that he had completed a book using the title Broken Square but could not get it published. It would be great for all Mike's fans if the book is published and a tribute to his writing skills!

This is really tragic; such a wonderful talent. My heartfelt condolences to the family. His books Heraklion Blue, The Long Reach, and the King's Shilling are all amongst the finest written in the military fiction genre. I would love to see Rhodesia finished, or even get the chance to read the unfinished work
