Presuamably in this era of e books the cost of publishing is much reduced. Have Broken Square and Somewhere out there been professionally edited?? I look forward to being able to read them in any format. Well done Piers.

I have today, formatted and recovered the full and complete manuscripts of both Broken Sqaure and Somewhere out there. I am seeking publishing agreements in the coming weeks. Hope this helps.

Mike mentioned that he had completed a book using the title Broken Square but could not get it published. It would be great for all Mike's fans if the book is published and a tribute to his writing skills!

This is really tragic; such a wonderful talent. My heartfelt condolences to the family. His books Heraklion Blue, The Long Reach, and the King's Shilling are all amongst the finest written in the military fiction genre. I would love to see Rhodesia finished, or even get the chance to read the unfinished work

I see that both Angels Seven and Heraklion Blue are available on Amazon. I would like to receive the first 17 chapters of Rhodesia if that is possible. Chris

Mike Died of cancer in March 2008.I am his son mentioned in the beginnings of several of his books. Rhodesia went unfinished and unpublished, but my goodness the stuff I have here on file is wonderful. I will seek to at some point, either finish it with his notes and a collaboration, or if you want, email you the first 17 chapters.
His literary legacy would mean a lot to him. So thank you.

I finally got hold of Heraklion Blue after looking on Amazon, Ebay etc for years. They had it in the local library about 3 miles from where I work!
Best of all, because no one had borrowed it for about 2 years before me they said I could buy it for...25p. Result!
As it doesn't look like this book will ever get reprinted in hardback, and it's never been published in paperback, I could scan it and email if anyone wants?
It's a great story - kind of like a British version of the Bruce Willis movie 'Tears of the Sun' but a lot better.

Sadly Mike passed away earlier this year after a six month fight with cancer. He was a generous man and a great friend and will be much missed. He never got to finish his rhodesia book.
