Marta posts on 8/23/2005 4:21:57 PM Hi Lee, SC's books are terrific, but guess what? So are yours. Why you don't have a website where we can have fun (by "we" I mean the readers)Come and visit SC's and have a laugh with all of us, we would love to see you around, and you can weare whatever you want, that's the dressing code. How's your cat? Cheers Marta
n lee wood posts on 8/13/2005 1:21:13 PM Dear Marta, I've read Storm Constantine, I've met Storm Constantine, she pulls off Outrageously Sexy Goth very well! And her fiction is certainly interestingly unique. I'll take it as a compliment to be compared to her work; I wish I had as bold a dress sense as well, but I'm a strictly jeans and t-shirt kinda lady. I am working on a sequel to Kingdom of Lies, the crime novel coming out in November, and there may be one after that in the series. But as for Master of None, it's a one-off. I've got another book I've just finished, and there's more sitting on the shelves in my brain, I'm not lacking for things and stories to write about, just time. Hopefully, you'll love Redemption when it comes out enough to want a sequel to THAT as well, who knows? Meantime, you could always join or form a bookclub and share what you love about the books you love with other people, keep reading alive, keep us authors solvent, and it's also a great excuse to drink a nice bottle of wine or two! Cheers, Lee
Marta posts on 8/13/2005 12:16:27 PM Lee, Have you read Storm Constantine? Somewhere along the line yours and her style are very similar. Storm waited 10 year before she wrote her sequel, so never say no, at least no so quickly. If you are a net surfer it will easy to find her whereabouts, and when you do, you will find a whole new meaning to your words “It means he's come alive for you as a character” hoping to “see” you at Storm's house soon. Cheers Marta

gwenn posts on 8/2/2005 7:04:26 PM Lee, that had been my next choice - so the note is one its way. Look for it soon. Gwenn
n lee wood posts on 8/2/2005 5:25:49 PM Gwen, the simplest thing to do is just send a letter to me care of my publisher, Warner Books, 1271 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10020. They'll forward it on to me. Cheers, Lee
gwenn posts on 8/2/2005 1:45:29 AM okay, Dave and Lee, I actually tried, and this site said my email address is too long, which is a bit confusing since I gave my correct email address. What next? Gwenn
n lee wood posts on 7/31/2005 4:03:20 PM Hi, Marta. That you've finished a book and are still imagining 'what happens next' to Nathan - his future with his kids, his Family, the research centre, his wife - that's wonderful! It means he's come alive for you as a character, that you care about what happens to him. And that means I did my job well. In a way, that's the best sequel of all, the one YOU imagine. And what better 'happily ever after' could any writer hope for? Thank you. :-)
Marta posts on 7/31/2005 1:21:26 PM Lee, sorry if I was not clear, living with somebody is no ticket to happines, living alone in this time and age is becoming more appealing by the minute, and as for Nathan the "sequel" I thought to myself had more to do with his works as a "reforme", the school, life within his family and maybe a significant other, without having anythign to do with the house, kids and the picket fence. As soon as i finish what I am reading I will get your last. Cheers Marta
gwenn meredith posts on 7/30/2005 10:16:17 AM Dave, okay, I'll post an email, but to which address, I know, more of the same, but caution has been justly inspired. Lee, if you're not still in the same flat, are you still in the same town? Dave, it is beastly hot in the eastern half of the States, Lee is the north of England still geographically close? And no, I too have been through that plethora of computers - but if you want a mystery puzzler, this will drive Dave crazy, but anyway, I'll be teaching at a university on the southern side of the Med, American foundation, and you know my discipline. I believe if you look on their website, you can find my details. Dave, when I get settled if this doesn't help, I'll get the temporary email and then you can communicate it to Lee. Thanks, Gwenn
