Syahirah posts on 11/16/2007 3:34:33 AM Hey. I just read the book Dear John. Its just so addictive and full of emotions. I like the trail of emotions that follow the book, truly depicts a real world out there. I've learnt so much from the book, a man's responsibility and patriotism to his country, the love and bond between a son and dad, and what more, true love is just more than about being (not) together. Truly a marvelous piece! =))

posts on 7/18/2006 4:32:19 PM Hey Nicholas Sparks fans. I haven't read any of Sparks' books, but my girlfriend is a big fan of his. She keeps saying how she wishes that she had one of the paperback copies of A Walk to Remember that came out before the movie did. According to her, they're not too easy to find. I want to save her some trouble and try to find one for her. However, since I don't read that much in general, I don't really know where to start. I did a bit of research, trying to find out what the differences would be between the version that they sell now and the version that they sold back then. I couldn't come up with anything. I didn't find anything on the internet about what they changed or how I'd be able to identify either of them. I'm starting to think that they never changed anything. That's the reason why I'm posting here. I figured that if anybody could help me, one of you guys could. If any of you would be able to tell me how I could locate one of the original versions in paperback (not first editions, btw), I'd be really grateful. Even just a small nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
posts on 7/9/2006 5:15:57 PM Nick, I read your article about how you helped the Williams family in the August Runner's World. It made me proud to be a Domer. Thanks, Greg Servant, '69
