Patricia Harwin Message Board

Mary Lou Saracino posts on 6/25/2009 1:34:24 PM I have a publisher you might try ! Mainly Murder Press. They have a website through which you may contact them. Go for it !!
Jay Anne Baker posts on 5/12/2009 1:58:49 PM I have to join with the folks asking Patricia Harwin to continue her Far Wychwood series. I just finished "Arson and Old Lace" and immediately went searching for a list of books in the series. Well written, engaging English "cozy" series are rare! Don't stop trying to get your third book published! I will keep checking in the hope you succeed.
Bev Hirsch posts on 4/9/2009 3:44:30 PM C'mon Pat! Surely you can self-publish, lots of authors do, in fact I have done it myself. Once you've done it a time or two, you'll probably be asked back by S&S, the boogers!

Julia Murphy posts on 2/19/2009 11:25:01 PM While browsing the paperback mysteries in my local library; I found Arson and old lace. I took it on a trip and could not put it down! All of the characters are wonderful! Mrs.Harwin's plots have been so enjoyable. Dear Patricia, after I read the first book I imediately went online to find out more about you and if more books were available. I was shocked and sadden to find out here what limbo you are in towards publishing more! I would love it if you would create a website for yourself. Please don't stop writing your series. I have to know if Catherine finds romance with Dan Vincent. Will Emily finally yield to her mother's advice on Archie? I too would like to visit a place like Far Wychwood. Wait! I already do :) Count me in with all rest- I would do whatever to help see more of your wonderful work! keep us posted! Julia
Mary Lou Saracino posts on 2/4/2009 10:40:51 PM Hi Pat, - Being a book store owner, I have heard recently of many NEW authors who are self-publishing because they are having trouble getting published elsewhere. Give it a try ! There are many of us waiting for your third book.
Karen Mallaber posts on 2/4/2009 7:21:17 AM My solution has been to stop buying Simon & Schuster books. This may not help, but it makes me feel better.
pam w posts on 2/4/2009 1:45:53 AM I have been awaiting the third book in the series for some time and to discover that is may not be continued is frustrating to say the least. there are a lot of us out there who love the English cozy mysteries. I hope we can somehow continue to enjoy this one.
Sandi posts on 1/30/2009 7:17:02 PM TheFar Wychwood books were two of the better English cozies. I was really looking forward to book 3. I e-mailed customer service at Simon & Schuster (www.simonsays.com) but no reply so far. Don't know what to try next.
Barbara posts on 12/30/2008 11:08:59 AM Just discovered P. Harwin's Far Wychwood series. So disappointed to discover we wont have more! Perhaps if we all wrote Symon & Shuster??
PatM posts on 12/8/2008 1:07:52 AM Amazon is an excellent idea! There are so many e-books these days, why not try, if that avenue hasn't been tried yet? It seems just ridiculous that Simon can refuse to publish and still somehow keep the book from being published elsewhere! Please don't give up!
