I know Peter has a new release "Broken Shore" coming out in August (hey, that's this month!). What was the title of the US release you saw on the website?

Saw on a site that Peter T had a book published in the US at the end of last year (04) - is it available in Australia?

Not sure what's troubling Natasha but it sure isn't her spell checker.
Hey, Jack Irish is by far and away the best character in an Australian-based book (that I have read - of any genre). I need to find a mate like Cam! Just got a copy of An Iron Rose (Big W - $15) which now completes my Peter Temple collection. Peter's depiction of the Melbourne scene (footy, cops, locations) is remarkable. (I understand he is originally from Sth Africa?). For me his books are far more enjoyable than even, say, any of Connelly's Bosch or Rankin's Rebus series. The later works of De Mille and any Len Deighton might match for suspense and drive, but for the local factor he is the best going around.

I have just discovered Peter Temple and love his Jack Irish books. Being from Melbourne I know all the streets and places he talks about in his books. I am currently reading The White Dog and am loving it.
