ebony posts on 8/11/2005 2:27:31 PM yuo know i totally agree wid you guys. i think the book was so sad and how they raped the womens..it's like nobody cares about black people. rukhsar sharif's book bukavu is a really good book about africa too. she writes about rwanda a bit but more on the congo.

They are ready to do anything to attain power and anything to save their lives. i dont mean to criticise the human race but just point out our flaws so that we can acknowledge and accept them and try to look around us once in a while
luvspell posts on 8/5/2005 1:11:36 PM i book is will writen, and i think there should be a movie made on it. i knw there is the movie hotle rawanda but in the book Gourevitch confronts the man Responsible and one thing i realy dn't understand is Y oh Y didn't any other countys try to help, and y wasn't it all over the news
