I am assistant curator of the Lynden Pioneer Museum, historian and author of "Memory Book, Friends of Aunt Phoebe Reunion," published in 2006. I am in the process of writing my second book about Phoebe Goodell Judson. I have access to large amounts of never published documents and am in constant contact with descendants of the Phoebe and Holden. Contact me for information.

Hello to all, Charlotte Goodell was my Great Great Grandmother. 3 of her children, Elsie, Edie and Joel Holbrook were raised by Charlotte's sister, Phoebe Judson in Lynden, Washington. I am interested to share information with anyone who is also researching the Goodell line.

Hi Naomi and others: I can't believe that I just "stumbled" onto this board, and found you all here. I will be doing 2 programs on Phoebe and my 2 great grandmother, Lois Emerette Goodell Totten,who were first cousins, in March and May.... Phoebe's father was Rev. Jotham Goodell, and Emerette's father was Rev. Joel Goodell, both sons of William Goodell, who was a Rev War soldier.
Would certainly be willing to share info!

I live in Delevan NY, a small town 35 miles south of Buffalo. Joel Brigham Goodell Baker lived at Warrens Corners on Route 104 Ridge Rd Lockport NY. Do you know Karen Parsons in Seattle? I've never used a Message board before.

Phoebe was my great aunt. When Jotham and Anne were living in Canada, Jotham's sister Phoebe Goodell Baker visited them and begged them to take Joel Brigham Goodell, then 4 years old, to be their legal heir. He was never officially adopted,but petitioned the court to change his name to Baker.
There is much interest in the Goodell genealogy.

Just found this by accident while researching for my Grandson. Phoebe was my great,great,great grandmother. Her daughter Annie had a daughter named Henrietta who had a daughter named Bernice who had a son named Douglas Ebey Worthington (my father who is now deceased). Nice to see there is still interest in our ancestors.
