Phoebe was a tough gal that lived through many hardships without complaining. Wouldn't it be nice if it were the same today!

Phoebe Goodell Judson was my great Aunt. She was a sister of Joel Brigham Goodell Baker, my great Grandfather. His Aunt, Phoebe Goodell Baker, requested that Joel come to live with them, but never adopted him. Joel petitioned the court to change his name to Baker.
