you guys, esp allie, remind me how lucky I was getting the soundtrack the week the movie came out. Even on LP it sound good. (I saw the CD on amazon for around $60.)

The song that is at the end when they both go to Steve Martin's house is called "Everytime You Go Away" by Paul Young. And the song that John Candy is playing air piano in the car is called "Mess Around" by Ray Charles.

When Neal is in the train going home the music playing is POWER TO BELIEVE by Dream Academy. At this time the song is not available in instrumental form only with vocals. It sounds better without vocals.

Does anyone know where I can purchase the soundtrack for Planes, Trains, and Automobiles at a reasonable price? It's posted on EBAY for over a $100! Is that the cheapest I'm gonna get? Hi everyone, i love the movie planes, trains and automobiles and I am especially interested in a shot piece of music which can be heard during the shot scene when the Truck near the end of the film is seen driving to Chicago. At the end of this scene the Truck rolls on the interstate directly in the city of chicage, Sears Tower can be seen. I am interested in the piece of music which sounds seconds bevor.
