I have to agree, I have read all of her Jack Fleming books, I have read all of her books that she wrote with Nigel Bennett, I have read both of her I Strahd books and her Quincy Morris book,her Johnathan Barrett series I have read her anthology Dracula in London and have just picked up "Dark and Stormy Knights". The think I love about Elrod is the fact she was doing vampires before the latest craze, I certainly respect Elrod and I have a lot of respect to for Charlaine Harris and her books and the latest "True Blood" series on HBO. These authors didn't just come along and say Vampires are really cool right now and so I think I'm going to write a bunch of stuff about vampires. These authors were doing vampires before they were cool and when the craze dies down, they will still be here. Anytime I run into a fellow vampire buff, I always tell them about Elrod.

Hello everyone,
Since the board was still empty. I thought I would put in a good word for my favorite author. I have been reading P.N. Elrod's novels for about about 7 or 8 years now, since A Chill in the Blood was published. I have read all her Vampire Files books (there's 11 now with Song in the Dark). I have also read her I, Strahd books and Quincey Morris, Vampire. She is a very talented author, with great attention detail and a wonderful imagination. If you like a good vampire or detective novels, P.N. Elrod is definitely the author for you.
