Thia posts on 8/19/2009 1:18:04 AM Movies based on Feist's work would ruin the whole concept, look at Eragon for example, the movie was a bore compared to the book.
Jason posts on 10/31/2007 12:40:18 AM Pete theres no need to be such a pretenious git. Learn some manners.
pete posts on 10/26/2007 4:46:48 AM James - I think that, just maybe, your writing skills have not improved as much as you suspect. Perhaps a quick study on the use of the full-stop would be beneficial. We also have apostrophes in i'm and, traditionally, 'nearly' is spelt with an 'r'. Wayne - your Sean Connery comment made me laugh. Yeah, the book's pretty good, by the way.

posts on 8/11/2006 2:30:36 PM Can anybody tell me why i can't find an audio book of Magician, Darkness at... etc. Does anybody know if one will be done?
posts on 6/3/2006 3:04:22 PM Honestly, who loved it? I beleive it offered the greatness that we've all come to expect from Mr. Fiest. Does anyone agree?
posts on 6/2/2006 8:42:55 PM I think a series of movies following the entire riftwar group of books would be VERY enticing to Mr. Feists fans. I would include the Kelewan based books as well.
shadowcraft posts on 2/8/2006 10:54:24 AM well, tal if you want to read up, he has announced it. Why would he announce it on the unofficial but sanctioned address and in an interview with scifi (channel) magazine - check the net bro, the interview is on the scifi address in the interviews section. As for writing it, he's just agreed and is involved with the project, he's still writing his own stuff. As for the guy who's scripting the riftwar stuff; right on! I've only been involved in the business for a while and i'd turned more to research and teaching for the time being, but in my time off i'm trying to translate magician into a two part screenplay. And it takes a fair bit of thinking cause you have to translate description of times and relationships into something not stupidly given away by character speech and all the way through the work when i've talked to different people on forums and suggested idea i've got nothing but critisisms and insults. So be careful who you talk to about your work because there's alot of people out there without the guts to try but they're still willing to try and bring you down. But you've got an ally here. Talk again. good luck. P.S. Tal - i don't know your background but i can tell you i've researched the life out of it and it wouldn't be as hartd as you've said. Just to get your facts straight. (you can build sets in america for 25 million which in prague cost 2 million - so there's a drastic loss in price.)
