I case anyone reads this blog, You will have noticed my previous message to Joy Meridith. Shortly after I posted, Joy contacted me and we have become friends. I recently compleated the first screenplay based on the TIMELINER trilogy. and the second is under way. I am also attatched to Direct the film adaptation. We have a few other projects we will be getting out the door prior to going into full pre-production statis, but early consept work has begun. Joy was teleconferenced into a script read with actors reading the various roles, and is reportedly, very pleased with the results. I look forward to a long and strong relationship with Richards estate, and it is my goal to bring his work to a new audience and to make the film he had dreamed of making.

Dear Joy,
You don't know me but I am a great fan of Richard C Meredith's "Timeliner" books. An English teacher in High School gave me my first copy in 1986.
I have recently been in contact with Barry Maltzberg, to inquire about obtaining movie rights to the books as I am an up and comming writer/director.
He has been dismissive and rude to me in our few E-mails ( would be happy to send you coppies) I wanted to let you know sence he is representing your late husbands works.

To explain my question , I dont understand . Computers and roaming takes a long time to do just the right thing.
I am only working on a book review for Richard.

I saw a article in the bulliten but could not read it. So I hoped some one could tell me more my Husband was Richard C. Meredith
How do agents just move from one agency to his own personel agency ,with out explainiing this . Even tho the last contract was about a movie. Is it because he helped his clients a great deal . He Has been very genine , but I dont understand . He took with him all the writers who had estates from Scott meredith literary Ag
