Richard Pelzer Message Board

Peg E posts on 11/7/2014 10:53:14 AM Richard, I hope that you are okay. I know you by the years we spent working together with "Hitler" as our boss, when she sabotaged things for you there, and later I was blackballed, so had to leave the co. after you did. I feel so much sadness in my heart for you, and I pray that you are all right and will take care of yourself. These people bashing you - DON'T LISTEN to them or the BS!! They will never understand your journey like you do. I know, as I was laid open to the public and boy are they ever cruel. You chose to come forward and share your story. I have great respect for you as a person and as a man. You were always so gentle, soft-spoken and kind. I give you so much credit for being able to survive. Please do what you have to in order to be healthy for YOU! I am praying for you and thinking of you. Peg E BFDS

Concerned posts on 8/9/2013 7:31:13 PM Richard Pelzer tried to commit suicide in June. Spent 2 weeks in a mental hospital. Sad

Marla posts on 9/15/2012 3:39:11 AM this is so sad. Having just read David's first 3 books and Richard's first 2 books I think they should bond and work together to create family for each other and be trustworthy for each other, become friends and be there for each other. Don't let her win.
veronica posts on 8/17/2012 10:03:58 PM i can understand why the two brothers do not talk, my brother and i were raised by an abusive parent. my older brother was hit and beat daily for a few years, and when i was 12 being my mouthy self as they said i yelled stop they did not so i walked out side and screamed so loud everyone on the block came. it stopped that day for my brother and i we never were hit again but my brother was so embarrased for me screaming he has never really talked to me about it, just once years ago he left me a note that said ronnie thanks you know why. you know when i got that note it was the first time my mind went back there in 20 years and i cried so hard my children thought i would die. I think sometimes people just need to move on i did and maybe that is how the brothers feel . God bless them both.
Jason posts on 4/7/2012 11:28:34 PM I think his books were great. I saw him speak last week, it was great. I cant wait to read his next book. He said it was a fiction novel coming out this year.
jazmin posts on 12/2/2011 1:21:16 PM I think that Tammy should be ashamed of herself for saying that! All siblings have problems and issues with one another, there will always be something bad to say about somebody- that doesn't mean you dont love them anyway. David Pelzer went through quite a bit,he has every right to speak about it if thats what he wants to do- it isn't up to you Tammy to judge him, if you don't like him then just don't read his books. Just because you are hateful and meanspirited, doesnt mean you should make everyone else on this forum listen your critisism and derision. Shame on you!
sydney posts on 10/22/2011 3:39:39 AM gee, Tammy sure likes to use the word "quote". it's too bad she doesn't know how to spell, write, or use it in a sentence correctly.
Robert posts on 6/14/2011 11:22:00 AM I am amazed at what he went through and how well he has turned out. He spoke at my school this week and is an amazing man. I wish him all the happiness in the world
Justin posts on 3/5/2011 4:25:46 PM I think his books are great. They were hard to read and i think what he has done since is amazing. I saw him speak recently and he was really good.
