Many of them follow up by reading your books To Life and The Holocaust Lady. I wish there were some way we could have you visit the school. Do you still travel? How could I inquire how much you charge etc. Thank you again for never losing HOPE! You are an inspiration for many.

Darcy Saleen posts on 2/13/2009 5:01:41 PM I loved Ruth’s book The Cage. I plan to read her other books but I have to find them first. I read the book because in my Holocaust class our teacher Mrs. Rankin had us read a book. As soon as I started reading I was happy that she gave me The Cage to read. It took me awhile to read but I re-read it after I got done with it. I just finished an essay on the quote “As long as there is life, there is hope.” My teacher said I did a great job and I am proud that for once I wrote a good essay. My favorite part of the book is when the Russians come to Grafenort to liberate the camp. I thought most of the book was sad and I cried when I found out that Moishele, Motele and their mother did not return home. It is so wonderful that Ruth survived to be able to tell her story that many generations to come will read.
