Abby posts on 11/3/2009 12:12:19 AM I love this book so much I have read it 16 times! It did make me cry the first time I read it, but not any other times. I wish their was a sequel, but some other good books by Ruth White are The Search for Belle Prater and Belle Praters Boy. I HIGHLY recomend this book.

Sarah posts on 1/10/2009 7:00:10 PM This book is one of the saddest books I have ever read. Does anyone think there should be a sequel? What do you think the sequel would include?
amber posts on 10/28/2008 5:55:39 PM this is such a cute book, it did not make me cry but i LOVED this book im doing a book report on this book too. and "emma" for the theme of this boook i said that it changed frequently from happy and exciting, to sad and depressing
bailey posts on 8/7/2008 1:50:51 PM Just finished reading Buttermilk Hill and was wondering if the author started as a poet. I loved the poetry in the book. The character, Piper, is sensitive and "right-on" in her responses to others. Are there any other series on the Lamberts besides Weeping Willow?
